1,6-Hexanediol (HDO) appears as white color flake. It is solid at room temperature and has good stability at normal ambient temperature. It is soluble in water, methanol, butanol, butyl acetate, slightly soluble in hot ether, insoluble in benzene; strong hygroscopicity; sensitive to humidity, oxidising agents, reducing agents, acid chlorides, acid anhydrides, chloroformates, etc.

Application:

1,6-Hexanediol(HDO) is an important organic chemical with a variety of uses and properties. It is mainly used in the production of polyurethanes, unsaturated polyesters, plasticisers, hardeners for gelling agents, and modifiers of the thermal stability of lubricating oils. It is also used in the production of pesticide pyrethroids, organic peroxides, cyclic musk, polyethylene plastic cross linking agents and polyether rubber. In addition, it can also be used as organic synthesis intermediates, plasticisers, dye coupling agents and printing ink formulation.

HDO can be applied to the modification of polyester resin, the modified resin has excellent mechanical strength, water resistance, heat resistance and oxidation resistance.

HDO can improve the alkali resistance of the resin, and improve its adhesion with glass fibre.

Cellulose Acetate Butyrate (CAB-551-0.01) is a cellulose ester with high butyryl content and low viscosity, which significantly affects it solubility and compatibility. CAB-551- 0.01 is soluble in styrene and methyl methacrylate monomers and will tolerate more aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbon diluent than higher viscosity materials. Cellulose Acetate Butyrate 551-0.2 for automotive coatings

Cellulose Acetate Butyrate (CAB-551-0.2) is a cellulose ester with high butyryl content and relatively low molecular weight. It is compatible with numerous cross-linking resins and has a lower solution viscosity. In coatings, CAB-551-0.2 gives clear films, reduces surface tack and mottling, minimizes cratering, improves flow and thermal reflow, and provides intercoat adhesion and good UV stability. It is useful for durable cross-linked formulations. Aldehyde resin KLT series are a kind of aldehyde condensation resin, which is colorless or yellowish. Dodecanedioic Acid for powder coatings

Dodecanediacetic acid is white powdery which is less soluble in water, but better soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol. After decomposing or polymerizing, it has no reaction at normal temperature and pressure.
